We are taking the necessary time to investigate, find and resolve issues the proper way so that everyone can be sure to enjoy this game of which we are exceedingly proud. The next patch will handle this issue and more, but it’s of paramount importance that the patch is also at the quality bar we expect from ourselves and that you all deserve. Additionally, we’re introducing a system to handle the situation properly if any player manages to find their way out of the world at some point during gameplay. In this patch, we’re taking the appropriate steps to make sure that we minimize the chances of this happening. This adds a lot of realism to the experience, but it also opens the door for myriad issues that are not consistently present in each playthrough, like this particular problem. Everything from the items in the house to the player themselves are driven by physics constraints. We’ve done a deep dive into the cause of this issue to ensure we handle it properly.Īs many of you know, Hello Neighbor: Search and Rescue is a physics-based game.
